MISSION:  To use hip hop fusion as a way to bring diverse cultures closer together by using art as a gateway to encourage open communication on social justice issues.  We wish to create programming and provide creative art-activism initiatives as it relates to progress in supporting higher education in communities of color, young women and lgbt youth.

SOUNDS LIKE:  Upper Manhattan is an oasis of creativity and artistic expression...it's Nina Simone meets Nas, it's Flying Lotus meets Roy Ayers, it's Prince meets J Dilla. Inspired by the revitalization of the New Harlem Renaissance, NYC's Hip Hop & Spoken Word Jam Session, presents a fusion of audio art backed by our live Sifer Fam Band (formerly Likwuidity). The Sifer encourages education initiatives while using our love for music to bring cultures closer together.
